Time Lapse Photography of Eastern Redbud Seedlings

Here is some more of our propagation manager’s work with stop motion photography.

This is Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis), a plant native to eastern North America, and an increasing part of southern Ontario’s flora. The pink flowers lining the branches are a beautiful addition to the colour here in late April and early May.

These images represent about a month of footage. The seedlings appear to dance during the course of each day, so I thought I’d add some foot-stomping music to it.
